  2. You need 4-5 of Sambhar Onions (Crushed).

  6. Prepare pinch of Asafoetida.
  7. You need 2-3 of Green Chillies (Halved).

  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Chilli Powder.
  11. It's 1/4 tsp of Pepper Powder.

  14. It's 2 tsp of Lemon Juice.

Okra Fry instructions

  1. Wash the okras nicely. Let it dry a bit. Cut into halves lengthwise and set aside..
  2. In a hand mixer chop the sambar onions and garlic and keep aside. You can also chop it finely in a chopper or you can crush it..
  3. Heat oil in a cooking pan. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle..
  4. Add asafoetida, green chillies and curry leaves and saute for a minute..
  5. Add the crushed onions and garlic and saute it lightly..
  6. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, cumin powder and kitchen king masala and salt and saute for a minute or two..
  7. Add the okras and stir fry for a minute. Cover and cook till the okras are cooked..
  8. Off the flame and add lemon juice and keep covered for about 5 minutes..
  9. Ready to serve..
