Wasn't a big fan of the tumeric tast with the okra but my husband enjoyed it.

- It's 4 cup of dice okra.
- You need 10 of curry leaf.
- It's 4 tbsp of oil.
- Prepare 1 dash of salt.
- Prepare 4 cup of cooked rice.
- You need of pounded paste.
- It's 3 of shallot.
- Prepare 3 clove of garlic.
- Prepare 1 of thumbs size fresh turmeric or 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- You need 1 of desseded red chili pepper.
- Prepare of seasoning.
- You need 1 tsp of black pepper.
- You need 3 tbsp of light soy sauce.
Almost as simple I just shake the okra in a bag w/ flour and seasonings (salt pepper garlic powder soul seasoning) to taste. Fry the okra in little oil before adding it to the curry/masala. OKRA RICE - Also called as Ladies Finger Pulao or Bindi Pulao or Vendakkai Sadam is a vegetarian rice made with Okra (Ladies Finger). The fried okra pieces mixed with the spicy masala rice make a great combination.

- in pan with oil stri fry pounded paste with curry leaf then add okra and cover lid for 2 minute in low heat.
- add dash of salt and only stir 2 time to mix well ( over stirring can cause okra to be slimmy )then cover lid again for another 2.
- add rice cooked rice with seasoning and fold gently to mix well cover lid again for another 2 minute then off heat.
- mix well the fried rice by now the okra is soft and tender and almost dry ( not slimmy ).
It is not only healthy but quite delicious. Remove okra from soy or almond milk and dredge into cornmeal-flour mixture to coat well. Definitely i will try during this week end. I too tried same okra fry but with different style. Mine gives a good combo with roti's o r hot rice.
